Job summary

WM is seeking a Plant Maintenance Technician in the United States. You will maintain balers, conveyors, motors, belts, gears, and bearings to keep the plant running safely and efficiently, perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and respond to breakdowns.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Be over 18 years of age.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Successfully complete and pass pre-employment drug screen and physical.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and repair major equipment including balers, conveyors, motors and bearings.
• Maintain the daily equipment inspections backlog and adjust procedures to meet production schedules.
• Inspect third-party repairs and recommend improvements to equipment performance.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns and work with limited supervision.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area following OSHA standards and safety procedures.
