Job summary

Autoneum, a global leader in acoustic and thermal management for vehicles, seeks an experienced Maintenance Supervisor for its Bloomsburg facility. You will direct operations and maintenance of steam, mechanical, compressed air, water and refrigeration systems to ensure uninterrupted production and safety standards.

You will plan machinery production settings, develop a preventative maintenance program, supervise maintenance staff and contractors, manage inventories, and drive cost reductions

Responsibilities

• Directs the operations and maintenance of steam, mechanical, compressed air, water and refrigeration systems to provide uninterrupted service
• Plans and establishes machinery production settings (steam pressure, temperature, tonnage of press, etc.) so that equipment runs with the proper settings
• Develops, schedules, and controls a preventative maintenance program to maintain production machinery and equipment
• Directs, supervises, coordinates mechanical maintenance personnel
• Responsible for the activities of all maintenance personnel & contractors to ensure that high standards of workmanship and safety are maintained
• Ensure proper maintenance of facility machinery and buildings
• Resolves operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays
• Recommends, plans, and implements equipment needs to improve production efficiency and/or achieve desired results
• Identifies cost reduction opportunities
• Utilizes technical expertise to implement or oversee the implementation of cost reduction ideas suggested by self and others
• Maintains inventories of maintenance material, supplies, and repair parts at required levels by initiating requisitions for purchase; periodically reviews inventory for proper upkeep for plant facilities
• Directs the work of outside contractors. Ensures high standards of safety are developed, met & maintained
• Ensures compliance with all related TS 16949 & ISO 14001procedures and requirements
• Assist in providing and maintaining a safe workplace
• Manages employees in the Maintenance Department and is responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of this unit
