Job summary

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering or Equivalent; Electrical Engineering degree preferred.
• 24 months experience in a maintenance or engineering role required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to operate powered industrial vehicles and obtain certification.
• Ability to work overtime and different shifts.
• Strong knowledge of safety and regulatory compliance in food/packaging environments.

Responsibilities

• Direct maintenance team in installation, repair and preventive maintenance of plant equipment.
• Prioritize and assign plant work requests to mechanics.
• Manage CMMS and maintain data integrity.
• Diagnose machine malfunctions using blueprints and manuals; coordinate with vendors for complex repairs.
• Ensure tasks comply with USDA, FDA, BRC and Cal-OSHA regulations.
• Maintain records of maintenance work and inventory.
