Job summary

Bonita Packing Co A Corp is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead PM-shift industrial maintenance in a high-volume food processing environment. You will ensure reliability of production machinery, utilities, controls, refrigeration, automation, and material-handling assets while directing troubleshooting and repairs to maximize uptime.

The ideal candidate brings a strong maintenance background and proven leadership, with a disciplined approach to root-cause analysis and equipment reliability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years hands-on industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing or processing environments.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
• Proficiency with CMMS and MS Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Supervise PM-shift maintenance technicians performing troubleshooting, repair, adjustment, installation, and preventive maintenance on production machinery.
• Lead electrical and controls troubleshooting including three-phase motors, PLCs, VFDs, sensors, and control panels.
• Oversee maintenance of material-handling equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks; ensure OSHA compliance.
• Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance via CMMS; prioritize work orders by criticality and production impact.
• Coordinate with Production, Sanitation, QA, and Safety to minimize downtime during breakdowns and changeovers.
• Uphold GMPs, HACCP, FSMA, and Cal/OSHA safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and support reliability and planning.
• Train and mentor maintenance staff, fostering safe practices and continuous improvement.
• Support installations, commissioning, and capital projects as needed.
