Tyson Foods, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Lead to support the supervisor in all maintenance activities at the plant site. The role includes assisting with preventive maintenance, repairing equipment, troubleshooting to minimize downtime, and training new team members.

Candidates must meet physical requirements and be able to work in extreme temperatures. Internal candidates with Level 6 training in Tyson’s Maintenance program will be considered first.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, reading) with the ability to provide feedback.
• Experience assisting with maintenance tasks and preventive maintenance programs.
• Ability to troubleshoot plant equipment to minimize downtime.
• Willingness to train and mentor team members.
• Must meet physical requirements: standing, bending, lifting, and climbing.

• Troubleshoot and repair plant equipment to reduce downtime.
• Help train new team members and bid trainees.
• Complete end-of-day paperwork and communicate with supervisors and other departments.
