Job summary

Sioux-Honey-Association in Sioux City, IA is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team, ensure safety compliance, and oversee repairs and preventive maintenance of production equipment. This is a full-time daytime position with responsibilities spanning budgeting, scheduling, and ISO documentation.

The role requires PLC troubleshooting, electrical/mechanical skills, and the ability to coordinate with Plant Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 1st class Hydronic License required.
• Ability to read, write legibly, and speak English.
• Good work ethic and reliable attendance history.
• Computer skills are required.
• Must be self-motivated and able to work with others.
• Willing to work overtime and Saturdays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and delegate work to the Maintenance group.
• Ensure safety regulations are followed and areas kept clean and orderly.
• Review maintenance budget with Plant Manager and plan asset needs.
• Set department working hours with Plant Manager approval.
• Maintain electronic records of maintenance and repairs.
• Ensure all processes and documentation are ISO-compliant.
• Perform emergency and scheduled maintenance on production equipment.
• Diagnose problems, replace parts, and test equipment as needed.
• Plan installation and repairs of electrical components and wiring.
• Read manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance.
• Be available for emergency call-back.
