Job summary

Amrize North America is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to coordinate mechanical maintenance and maximize equipment availability at the Portland Plant, while controlling costs and ensuring safety and environmental compliance.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years in industrial maintenance or cement industry experience, strong leadership, and a commitment to safety. This role offers growth within a expanding North American operations and a dynamic team environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience or cement industry experience.
• Strong communication skills (written and oral).
• Strong leadership skills.
• Well organized and able to prioritize.
• Must work well under pressure.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Adherence to safety protocols and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise mechanical maintenance activities to maximize equipment availability.
• Develop safety standards and ensure compliance with environmental rules.
• Inspect plant equipment regularly and analyze data to trigger maintenance work orders.
• Provide technical support to maintenance and purchasing groups.
• Lead problem-solving task forces when required.
• Ensure reliable inventory of spare parts and cost-effective sourcing.
