Job summary

Perdue AgriBusiness is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a skilled maintenance team, plan and execute maintenance activities, and keep production running at peak efficiency while championing safe work practices.

You will own preventive maintenance programs, troubleshoot and repair equipment, and coordinate rebuilds or replacements to minimize downtime. This hands-on role rewards talent development and reliable, high-performing operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering or related discipline.
• 0-3 years of related experience.
• Prior supervisory experience.
• Troubleshooting ability and technical knowledge of production, mechanical, and electrical equipment.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with ability to coordinate multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all plant equipment is in top operating condition and available for production as needed.
• Organize and plan regular maintenance work on all equipment and systems within the plant.
• Review preventive procedures and maximize maintenance processes with operations to identify problems and requirements.
• Supervise maintenance associates and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures.
• Select, orient, train, assign, schedule, coach, counsel, and discipline staff.
• Evaluate functionality and reliability of facility systems and equipment and suggest improvements.
