Job summary

AUTOKINITON in Avon, OH is seeking a Maintenance Superintendent to lead the maintenance team in a high‑volume stamping/assembly environment. You will drive safety, reliability, and continuous improvement while managing budgets, schedules, and manpower to meet production goals.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in manufacturing/engineering and have 8+ years as a maintenance supervisor plus 2+ years in management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Industrial Technology or equivalent.
• Minimum eight years as maintenance supervisor; two years in management.
• Knowledge of manufacturing, stamping and/or assembly processes.
• Lean manufacturing experience and strong analytical skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance supervisors and hourly staff; ensure safety and productivity.
• Develop and drive departmental strategy, budgets, and schedules.
• Oversee preventive maintenance, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement.
