Job summary

The Honolulu Advertiser is seeking a Maintenance Operations Manager to direct maintenance and engineering activities for plant systems, prioritizing safety, quality, efficiency and cost. You will implement best practices, develop preventive maintenance programs, and establish KPIs to measure performance.

You will lead a diverse maintenance team, coordinate across departments, and ensure ISO standards are followed while maintaining a proactive, cost-aware approach to plant reliability and uptime.

Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering required.
• 8 years of manufacturing plant experience required, with at least 5 years in a similar role.
• Experience in People Management, Project Management, and Safety and Environmental Management is required; computer literacy is essential.
• Ability to develop and implement preventive maintenance programs and KPI-based performance standards.
