Job summary

Viskase Companies, Inc. is seeking a Pipefitter-Welder-Fabricator to fabricate, install, disassemble, clean and inspect piping systems and perform welding repairs on plant components.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 4 years of industrial welding and pipefitting experience OR apprenticeship + 2 years experience OR vocational program + 2 years experience.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains processes at an industrial level.
• Performs work orders that comply with the maintenance schedule and addresses plant needs.
• Support internal projects.
• Follow established programs, policies and practices to produce quality materials output that meet product specifications and quality system requirement.
• Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures and follows the Safety Cardinal Rules.
• Performs any other assignments as directed.
