Job summary

VLS Environmental Solutions, LLC in Corpus Christi, TX, seeks a skilled Pipefitter/Welder to fabricate, install, maintain, assemble and repair piping systems for industrial production and processing facilities.

The ideal candidate will have five years of related experience, a welding certificate, and the ability to read blueprints while following safety procedures and maintaining a clean work area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Welding Certificate a Plus.
• Journeyman Welding Card a Plus.
• Five years related Pipefitter/Welder experience.
• Trained on manlift, scissor lift, forklift a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, assemble, install and maintain pipe systems per blueprints.
• Repair leaks in piping for steam, condensate, cooling and air systems.
• Install and repair pipe supports and related equipment.
• Cut, bend, thread pipe; drill holes for connections.
