Job summary

Martin Marietta is seeking a Utility Person at the Midlothian Quarry in Virginia. You will perform cross-functional duties in plant maintenance, production, and equipment operation, including lubrication, cleaning, and basic reporting. The role requires a safety-focused, dependable team member for a 6:30AM–4:30PM schedule with potential weekend work.

Experience in building materials is preferred. Base pay ranges from $23.69 to $27.28 per hour, with comprehensive benefits for full-time employees.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required.
• Experience in building materials industry preferred.
• Safety-conscious and dependable with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and routine maintenance on mobile and plant equipment.
• Conduct daily pre/post-shift inspections and maintain maintenance logs.
• Operate plant equipment including skid steers and loaders to clean around equipment and maintain roadways.
