The candidate should have 3–5 years in the industry, 1–3 years of supervisory experience in meat processing, and strong knowledge of OSHA, USDA and HACCP

Qualifications

• Bachelor or equivalent degree not required but preferred; high school diploma required.
• 3–5 years of related industry experience; 1–3 years supervisory experience in meat processing.
• Knowledge of OSHA, USDA and HACCP regulations is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in controlling expenses and ensuring compliance with federal meat inspection and OSHA requirements.
• Interpret and enforce company policies; assist in manpower planning and reporting.
• Supervise production supervisors and oversee designated shift operations.
• Maintain housekeeping, safety, sanitation and security standards.
