Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking a Plant Maintenance Mechanic/Utility Person to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on ready mix plant equipment, maximizing uptime across multiple locations.

You will troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, inspect and replace conveyors, mixers, motors, and gearboxes, and service ready mix concrete trucks as needed. Travel between sites is required, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on ready mix plant equipment to maximize uptime.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems associated with plant operations.
• Inspect, maintain, and replace conveyors, mixers, motors, gearboxes, and related production equipment.
• Perform maintenance and repair work on ready mix concrete trucks as needed.
• Partner with operations teams to support safe, reliable, and productive performance across multiple ready mix plant locations.
