Job summary

Kroger Layton plant is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the safe, efficient execution of maintenance and projects. You will supervise craft resources, coach staff, review work orders, and ensure compliance with SQR, GMP, OSHA, EPA, and FDA standards to uphold product quality and safety.

You will coordinate Preventative and Predictive Maintenance, optimize labor and materials, and drive continuous improvement with planners and technicians in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment in

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with relevant experience or 6+ years in food/process maintenance.
• Knowledge of GMP, EPA and OSHA requirements.
• Proficient in CMMS and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe, efficient maintenance execution and supervision of craft resources.
• Coach direct reports; complete performance reviews and provide feedback.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA/EPA/FDA regulations and quality standards.
• Direct maintenance work, controlling quality, duration and cost.
• Coordinate Preventative/Predictive Maintenance (PPM) work orders.
• Review labor, materials, and priorities in job packages for accuracy.
• Facilitate improvements with craft resources and planners/schedulers.
• Identify training needs and assign tasks according to abilities.
• Maintain safe housekeeping and practices across the facility.
• Troubleshoot equipment and support operations using CMMS reporting.
