Job summary

TreeHouse Foods is seeking a Maintenance Manager for our Wayland, MI facility specializing in non-dairy creamer. You will oversee all maintenance, services, and infrastructure, leading a team to implement preventative, predictive, and continuous improvement programs to maximize uptime.

You will collaborate with operations and engineering, manage capital projects and spare parts, and guide a safety-first culture while ensuring regulatory compliance and optimal asset performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s in Engineering preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory or technical management experience in production/food manufacturing.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety-first culture and ensure compliance with Food Safety and Quality requirements.
• Serve as PM Pillar Leader; develop 2–3 year maintenance and reliability strategy.
• Manage preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs to maximize uptime.
• Coach and mentor maintenance technicians and staff.
• Establish inspection schedules, work orders, and maintenance records.
• Use KPIs, root cause analysis, and corrective actions to improve reliability.
• Champion Continuous Improvement using TPM, SMED, PDCA, and other tools.
• Oversee CMMS implementation and maintenance planning.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and leadership on asset strategies.
• Manage maintenance-related capital projects and budgets.
• Build relationships with OEMs, contractors, and vendors; manage service agreements.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership to troubleshoot issues.
