Job summary

Socket.dev in DeLand, FL is seeking a Maintenance Manager to direct repair, maintenance, and installation of production equipment and facilities.

You will lead and develop maintenance staff, plan preventive maintenance, and coordinate with Engineering, Production, and Quality to minimize downtime and control costs.

A Bachelor's in mechanical engineering and 3–5 years in a management role are preferred; experience with PLCs and utility systems is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years management experience or equivalent.
• Experience in maintenance of production equipment and facilities.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate maintenance, repair, installation, and preventive maintenance activities.
• Lead, train, and develop maintenance personnel; set priorities and safety standards.
• Maintain knowledge of plant systems including refrigeration, electrical, air and piping, PLCs, and packaging equipment.
• Ensure reliable operation of plant utilities and support systems.
• Analyze data to identify issues, drive improvements, reduce costs, and optimize labor/equipment use.
• Manage resources, budgets, projects, and equipment needs; collaborate with Engineering, Production, Quality, and management.
