Job summary

Chan & Chan USA LLC is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor for the Bethlehem, PA plant. You will lead the maintenance team, drive a preventive maintenance program, and develop the CMMS while ensuring equipment uptime and food-safety compliance.

The role requires hands-on mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, 5+ years in manufacturing maintenance, and 2+ years of leadership. Day shift, on-site, with occasional PM requirements and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing, including 2+ years leading technicians.
• Hands-on mechanical and electrical troubleshooting across motors, drives, and basic PLCs.
• Experience maintaining food manufacturing equipment and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead the maintenance team: recruit, hire, train, and develop the Maintenance Lead and Technicians.
• Plan, schedule, and run the preventive maintenance program with accurate equipment history.
• Develop the CMMS; maintain records, PM schedules, parts lists, and work orders.
• Lead breakdown response and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC equipment.
• Maintain packaging equipment, forklifts, and crane warehouse systems.
• Manage spare parts and coordinate with Supply Chain; oversee external contractors.
• Track KPIs: downtime, MTBF, MTTR, PM completion, backlog, spend; analyze root causes.
• Support equipment installations, line start-ups, and capital projects.
• Own maintenance safety and budget portions; ensure training and compliance.
