Job summary

Vestis is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor at our Caspian, MI facility to ensure safe, reliable operation of all plant equipment and facilities. You will lead maintenance staff, plan preventive maintenance, and coordinate with the engineering team to meet production needs.

The role requires strong attention to safety, budgeting experience, and ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment. On-site position with focus on efficiency and cost control.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical college degree or certificate in related discipline or equivalent work experience.
• Experience managing a maintenance staff (2+ years) is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and large machinery maintenance.
• Experience in safety initiatives, planning, preventive maintenance, budgeting, and vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe and efficient operation of plant equipment and facilities.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and monitor equipment performance.
• Develop maintenance schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Collaborate with engineering and Market Center management on maintenance issues.
• Oversee installation, removal, and commissioning of equipment.
• Audit and document maintenance activities and safety compliance.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for optimal maintenance outcomes.
