Perdue Foods, part of Perdue Farms, seeks a Maintenance Manager to lead a high-performing team and keep plant production safe, efficient, and reliable. You will drive maintenance strategy, oversee projects, and optimize equipment spend.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering (or related discipline) and 5+ years of relevant experience. Strong knowledge of maintenance management systems, preventive and predictive maintenance, and manufacturing technologies is

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering or related discipline; in lieu of a degree, equivalent work experience will be considered.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Must have an understanding of maintenance management systems and processes, preventive and predictive maintenance, manufacturing technologies and standard software applications.
• Requires strong communication, math, organizational and analytical skills.
• Must be able to travel to other facilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy maintenance and store improvement programs and projects that improve the plant and equipment performance.
• Promote safety and demand it from the maintenance organization.
• Manage the maintenance staff to include hiring, training and developing the staff to meet the needs of the department.
• Ensure preventative and predictive maintenance is completed and records are maintained on all assets.
• Ensure maintenance projects comply with all local, state and federal safety and environmental requirements and regulations.
• Develop and oversee the continuous improvement of the manufacturing processes and executing long-term plans.
• Manage the maintenance management system.
• Coordinate work performed by outside vendors.
