Job summary

Hanes Companies, a division of Leggett & Platt, is seeking a Maintenance Manager for its Winston Salem, NC plant. The role oversees mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and other systems, leads the maintenance team, and drives reliability and safety improvements across operations.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in industrial maintenance with at least 2 years in a supervisory role, strong engineering acumen, and experience with CMMS and MS Office.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in industrial maintenance.
• At least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Proven experience managing maintenance teams, budgets, and large-scale projects.
• Proficiency with maintenance management software (CMMS) and MS Office.
• Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and mentor the maintenance team, ensuring high performance and safety.
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs to maximize uptime.
• Develop and manage a comprehensive equipment maintenance plan and budget.
• Coordinate with external vendors and oversee major maintenance projects.
• Conduct safety audits and ensure compliance with OSHA and standards.
