Job summary

US Engine Valve in Westminster, CO is seeking a hands-on Exempt Salary Position for First Shift to lead preventive and response maintenance, coordinate with operations and materials planning, and mentor technicians to improve safety, workmanship and 5S.

The role focuses on driving maintenance costs down, improving MTBF/MTTR, planning shut downs and major projects, and ensuring adherence to Quality and Environmental Management Systems while developing manufacturing processes and coordinating

Qualifications

• Associates degree required or equivalent with supervisory experience in maintenance/manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, project planning and capital equipment justification.
• Experience interpreting Quality Management System requirements and AIAG manuals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to coordinate technical interchange between different manufacturing technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor maintenance technicians to improve safety, workmanship and 5S.
• Drive maintenance cost down by building a strong preventive maintenance system.
• Improve MTBF and MTTR through proactive initiatives.
• Coordinate with engineering and production on key projects and kaizen.
• Plan, organize and oversee plant shutdowns and major maintenance activities.
