Job summary

US-Engine-Valv in Westminster, SC seeks an Exempt Salary Position - First Shift to lead preventive and response maintenance, coordinating with operations and materials planning while mentoring technicians to ensure correct troubleshooting and quality workmanship.

The role focuses on driving down maintenance costs, improving MTBF and MTTR, planning shutdowns, and coordinating with engineering on facility systems.

Qualifications

• Associates degree required or equivalent experience.
• Experience supervising maintenance or manufacturing teams.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and project planning.
• Familiarity with AIAG manuals and Quality Management Systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor maintenance technicians to improve safety, workmanship, and 5S.
• Drive maintenance costs down by building a strong preventive maintenance system.
• Improve MTBF and MTTR through proactive problem solving and root-cause analysis.
• Coordinate with engineering and production managers on key projects and kaizen events.
• Provide input for future planning of USEV to meet company goals.
• Train and evaluate maintenance staff to maintain high performance.
• Schedule preventative maintenance across facilities and coordinate with engineering on systems like HVAC and DI.
