Job summary

Ferrara's Jelly Belly facility in Fairfield, CA is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team of Mechanics, coordinate daily work orders, and support production schedules with safe, reliable equipment and building systems.

You will implement and oversee preventative maintenance, collaborate with operations, ensure compliance with GMP and CAL OSHA, and drive continuous improvements to keep the plant operating at peak efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in building or plant maintenance, or general maintenance.
• Electrical construction, controls or troubleshooting experience.
• Knowledge of machinery repair techniques, welding, pipefitting, basic lifting and rigging.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop direct staff, including directing the maintenance crew.
• Assign daily work orders and oversee safety-compliant execution.
• Oversee preventative maintenance programs and facility audits.
• Coordinate with operations to minimize downtime and ensure peak plant performance.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and prepare reports for operational improvements.
