Job summary

Tyson Foods seeks a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to perform preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment across the plant. The role includes installation and upkeep of hydraulic systems, pumps, motors, boilers, compressors, HVAC, and cooling towers.

You will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, perform equipment changeouts, and complete CMMS/SAP paperwork. Candidates should have at least 6 months of mechanic experience or completed industrial maintenance training,

Qualifications

• 6 months of mechanic work experience or completion of an industrial maintenance training program.
• Willingness to overtime and weekends as needed.
• Able to perform basic math functions and read schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Install and maintain hydraulic equipment, pumps, motors, and cylinders.
• Service utility equipment including boilers, compressors, HVAC, and cooling towers.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical or mechanical systems.
• Open and setup equipment and perform machine shop tasks.
