Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Maintenance Generalist in Alabama to perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems in a fresh food manufacturing setting. You will ensure safe, reliable operations while complying with Tyson policies and food safety standards.

The role requires hands-on maintenance across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to read manuals and schematics.

Qualifications

• Must have maintenance experience (3 months minimum) documented in application/resume.
• Maintenance Generalist handles preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance.
• Requires ability to read manuals, schematics, and work orders.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on production equipment and facilities.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime and restore operations quickly.
• Document maintenance activities in the CMMS.
• Support installations, upgrades, and modifications.
• Follow safety policies, lockout/tagout, and PPE procedures.
