Job summary

County Prestress in Roberts, WI, is seeking a Plant Maintenance Foreman to lead the maintenance team, troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment, and implement preventative maintenance programs to maximize uptime and efficiency.

The role requires supervising technicians, coordinating with production, and performing complex maintenance and emergency repairs. A background in hydraulic/mechanical systems and welding is essential.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years' experience in plant manufacturing equipment maintenance.
• Proactive, multi-tasked, self-motivated team player with a positive attitude.
• Strong hydraulic, mechanical, welding and industrial experience, including hydraulic pumps, electric motors, conveyors, steel fabrication and overhead cranes.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics for equipment troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of pneumatic systems.
• Electrical license preferred; valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and support plant maintenance staff.
• Troubleshoot and diagnosis of production equipment during operation.
• Maintain preventive maintenance schedules.
• Schedule and perform mechanical/hydraulic/pneumatic repairs on production equipment.
• Coordinate work with production to minimize downtime.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed and documented.
• Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs of equipment.
• Perform fabrication and welding as needed.
• Read manuals to perform repairs and service.
• Obtain quotes for parts and install replacements.
