Job summary

Zeus Industrial Products in Orangeburg, SC is seeking a Plant Machinist to support tooling and die needs for production and maintenance. The role requires around 50 hours weekly with overtime and weekend work as needed.

Responsibilities include setting up and operating machines, inspecting work, and following ISO procedures. Candidates should have basic machining skills, blueprint reading ability, and at least two years of experience. Associates degree is desirable.

Qualifications

• Reads and works from blueprints, drawings and sketches.
• Two (2) years of industrial machinist experience.
• Associates degree in Machine Tool field is desirable.
• CNC experience is desirable.
• Tool making experience is desirable.
• Attendance and punctuality are essential functions of this position.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates machines for the construction, maintenance, repair and alteration of tooling, machinery and machine parts.
• Enters work related data into Oracle
• Follows ISO procedures relating to job function
• Inspects own work and prepares inspection report
• Participates actively in shop 5S program
