Job summary

Zeus Industrial Products in the United States seeks a Plant Machinist to support tool and die needs for production and maintenance. Expect a ~50 hour work week with overtime as required; weekends may be scheduled based on production demands.

The role involves setting up and operating machines, following ISO procedures, and data entry into Oracle. Required are basic skills on manual lathes, mills, drill presses, saws and grinders, plus accuracy with micrometers, calipers and other measuring

Qualifications

• Basic skills on manual lathes, mills, drill presses, saws and bench/surface grinders.
• Proficient with micrometers, calipers, dial indicators and other measuring devices.
• CNC experience is desirable.
• Tool making experience is desirable.
• Reads and works from blueprints, drawings, and sketches.
• Two years of industrial machinist experience.
• Attendance and punctuality are essential for production objectives.

Responsibilities

• Sets up and operates machines for tooling, machinery and parts.
• Enters work-related data into Oracle.
• Follows ISO procedures related to job function.
• Inspects own work and prepares inspection report.
• Participates in shop 5S program.
