Job summary

Mondi Group in Utah is seeking a Plant Continuous Improvement Manager to lead CI initiatives across production and support functions, establishing daily management, training plans, and SOPs to drive productivity, quality, and safety.

You will partner with cross-functional teams, manage CI projects end-to-end, coach lean principles, and build capability through hands-on coaching, with onboarding support and a culture of accountability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, statistics, or related field.
• 2+ years with lean methods (A3, 5S, Gemba, Kaizen, OEE, PSM).
• Experience in project management.
• Strong presentation and communication skills across cultures.
• Proven leadership to manage project teams.
• Hands-on, solution-oriented mindset.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Six Sigma Green or Black Belt preferred.
• Spanish bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify, prioritize, and lead CI initiatives across departments.
• Lead foundational CI programs and daily management systems.
• Manage CI projects end-to-end with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure visibility and sustainability of improvements to leadership.
• Develop and improve standard processes, templates, and SOPs.
• Capture and share best practices across the plant and organization.
• Act as a change agent and embed CI into daily operations.
• Build CI capability with training, coaching, and hands-on support.
• Assist onboarding of new employees to CI principles.
