Job summary

Pacific International is helping a Fortune 500 manufacturing organization recruit a Continuous Improvement minded Plant Leader. You will drive safety, quality, delivery and cost improvements, and lead a cultural shift toward operational excellence across the site.

The role includes stewarding a major capital project to increase capacity, mentoring a manufacturing team, and building talent while maintaining a strong presence with employees at all levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or business-related area.
• 10+ years of manufacturing leadership experience.
• Travel up to 15%.

Responsibilities

• Develop a manufacturing team focused on safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Lead the facility driving safety, accountability and operational excellence.
• Implement Operating model using 5S to improve inventory and throughput.
• Set production, quality, environmental and reliability targets.
• Hire and develop leadership talent and maintain workforce engagement.
• Maintain a strong plant presence and engage with employees at all levels.
• Foster a environment where employees feel heard and valued.
