Job summary

Plymouth Spring Co. is a growing precision spring and metal stamping manufacturer serving customers in medical, industrial, aerospace, and commercial markets. We seek an experienced, hands-on Plant Manager to lead our manufacturing operations and drive continuous improvement across the facility.

This leadership role is for someone who enjoys building teams, improving processes, and delivering exceptional quality and customer service, with responsibility for safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of manufacturing leadership experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience managing a manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership for daily plant operations including production, maintenance, engineering, shipping, and inventory.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve safety, quality, productivity, and profitability.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
• Ensure customer requirements are met with on-time delivery and world-class quality.
• Monitor KPIs including OEE, scrap, labor efficiency, and on-time delivery.
• Manage production scheduling and capacity planning to meet customer demand.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, Purchasing, and Engineering to support new product launches.
• Maintain compliance with ISO standards and customer-specific requirements.
• Develop, coach, and mentor supervisors and department managers.
• Prepare and manage operating budgets and capital projects.
• Drive maintenance programs to maximize uptime.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations.
• Support customer audits and continuous quality improvement.
