Job summary

Monarca Food Solutions (Evans / Palmex) seeks a Plant Manager in Greensboro, NC to lead a pork rind manufacturing facility. You will oversee production, maintenance, engineering, quality, food safety, sanitation, and distribution, ensuring safety, quality, customer satisfaction, and profitability.

The role partners with Corporate Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, HR, Sales, and R&D to drive growth, manage budgets, and optimize processes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading an entire manufacturing facility.
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible leadership and direction for all plant operations.
• Develop and coach department managers and supervisors to build a high-performing team.
• Establish goals and hold teams accountable for results.
• Promote safety, quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement culture.
• Direct manufacturing activities including production, packaging, warehousing, and shipping.
• Drive improvements in throughput, yields, and OEE while minimizing waste.
