Job summary

Monarca Food Solutions (Evans / Palmex) in Greensboro, NC, is seeking a Plant Manager to lead our pork rind manufacturing facility, ensuring safety, quality, and profitability while building a high-performing team. You will direct production, maintenance, engineering, QA, sanitation, and logistics, partnering with Corporate Operations and Finance to drive continuous improvement and meet EBITDA goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Food Science, Business Administration, or related field; equivalent manufacturing leadership experience may be considered.
• Ten+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership, including at least five years leading an entire manufacturing facility.
• Food manufacturing experience required; snack food, meat, or pork rind experience preferred.
• Demonstrated success improving safety, quality, productivity, profitability, and employee engagement.
• Experience leading multi-shift operations and Lean initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible leadership and direction for all plant operations.
• Develop, coach, and evaluate managers and supervisors to build a high-performing team.
• Establish operational goals and ensure results with accountability.
• Promote safety, quality, teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Drive Lean and continuous improvement; manage capital projects and process improvements.
