Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Plant Layout Design Engineer in North America, preferably Plano, TX. The role involves creating state-of-the-art plant layouts for CAPEX projects in cement and related sectors, with emphasis on safety, cost efficiency, and operability.

You will work with Engineering Managers and discipline engineers to define scope, produce drawings, and ensure drawings comply with standards. This position offers remote work within reasonable travel distance to airports and involves up to 30%

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Civil Engineering as field of study preferred.
• 3-5 years of work experience in industrial plant design or related field.
• Good knowledge of current engineering design standards and cement-industry specific tools.

Responsibilities

• Elaborate and develop basic engineering documents for greenfield, brownfield, and debottlenecking projects in PM&E scope.
• Create mass flow diagrams, plot plans, general layouts, and flow sheets for tendering.
• Produce 2D/3D modeling using NavisWorks, Revit, and CAD tools.
• Maintain and extend the plant design database; ensure safety and cost effectiveness.
• Coordinate with Engineering Managers and project stakeholders to deliver on time and budget.
• Demonstrate safety and environmental policy adherence in all tasks.
