Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Plant Layout Design Engineer to deliver state-of-the-art plant layouts for cement, waste management, and other sectors. The role supports CAPEX projects from definition to execution, emphasizing safety, cost control, and operability.

Preferred locations include Plano, TX or Dundee, MI, with remote work possible near an airport and travel readiness. The ideal candidate has experience with conveyors or material handling in heavy industrial environments, and proficient CAD/3D

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 3-5 years of relevant design experience in industrial plant systems.
• Experience with layouts including conveyors or material handling in heavy industrial settings.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver plant design documents for PM&E scope across projects.
• Create mass flow diagrams, plot plans, general layouts and flow charts.
• Produce 2D/3D models using Navis Works, Revit, and CAD tools.
• Ensure designs are safe, cost-effective, and maintainable.
• Coordinate with Engineering Managers and project stakeholders to meet timelines.
