Job summary

Martin Marietta in Sedalia, MO is seeking a motivated individual to join our rock-solid team at the Sedalia Quarry. This full-time role operates a variety of equipment and assists with plant maintenance, production and daily operations.

Responsibilities include assisting plant/equipment operators, quality control, loading, shipping, and housekeeping; perform pre/post-shift inspections and cross-train across plant areas.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year related experience in plant operations or construction preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Experience operating heavy equipment and basic welding/maintenance helpful.

Responsibilities

• Assist in plant operations including production, quality control, loading, and shipping.
• Shovel, sweep, lift, clean, and act as a spotter as needed.
• Support plant and equipment operators with general duties; cross-train across areas.
• Perform daily pre/post-shift inspections and maintain equipment logs.
• Maintain good housekeeping in assigned areas; follow safety protocols.
