Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• 1+ years of related experience.
• Valid US driver’s license.
• Heavy equipment operations or military experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in safety programs and trainings.
• Operate skid steer to facilitate plant clean-up.
• Train and provide back-up for Plant Operator I.
• Inspect equipment for signs of wear.
• Monitor processes, materials and surroundings.
• Tend to conveyors to move materials through production.
• Perform basic maintenance on heavy mobile equipment.
• Operate haul truck to assist with plant operations.
• Work in a team environment.
• Clean work areas.
• Wear proper personal protective equipment.
• Notify supervisors of repairs needed.
• Manage multiple tasks and prioritize production needs.

Hours: 6:30am - 6:30pm - 55-60 hour work weeksPay: $23-$26 an hourJOB SUMMARYMartin Marietta is currently looking for a Plant Operator for surface operations at our Auxvasse South Quarry in Auxvasse, MO.
