Job summary

Martin Marietta in Sedalia, MO is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to safely operate heavy equipment to move material within the plant. You will work as part of a team to keep operations moving and follow safety protocols.

Hours: 6am

• 5pm Monday
• Friday. Open to working 55-60 hour work weeks

This position is responsible for safely operating heavy equipment to move material within the plant.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

Participate in safety programs and training, promoting Martin Marietta's Guardian Angel culture Inspect equipment for signs of wear Perform basic maintenance on heavy mobile equipment Work in a team environment Clean work areas Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions Proper wear of personal protective equipment Notify supervisors of repairs needed Ensure materials are properly loaded according to safety requirements Assist in plant maintenance and repairs Perform duties with minimum supervision

Required Education And Experience

High school diploma, GED or equivalent 1+ years of related experience Valid US driver's license
