Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking an Information Technology Operations specialist to support the Rawsonville Components Plant in Michigan. You will maintain plant IT systems, troubleshoot applications and infrastructure, and help modernize manufacturing processes to reduce complexity and increase transparency.

The role emphasizes supporting plant floor systems, IIoT deployments, and cross-functional collaboration with global teams, with opportunities to learn manufacturing operations and apply

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with Server administration (Windows 2012+ or Linux).
• Familiar with Cisco routers and switches; basic staging and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory/ADFS.
• Experience with VM servers (OVS).
• Experience with Android and/or iOS devices.
• Experience with Mac OS.
• Experience with Office365 and SharePoint.
• Experience with Office automation.
• Experience with Dell PCs/Printers/Servers.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical IT support (applications, infrastructure, OS, end-user productivity) to plant customers.
• Interface with Business IT to prioritize improvements.
• Support Plant Floor Systems and PDO teams in incident resolution and escalations.
• Focus on long-term maintenance of applications and hardware.
• Assist team lead with workload management.
• Develop, maintain and share accurate support documentation.
