Ford Motor is seeking an experienced IT Manager for its new Michigan site to build and lead the IT infrastructure for both office and manufacturing environments. You will oversee servers, networks, MES/ERP systems, and security, while aligning local initiatives with Ford's enterprise strategy.

The role requires strong leadership, hands-on technical skills, and a focus on reliability, security, and continuous improvement. Hybrid onsite four days a week with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years IT experience, preferably in manufacturing, including leadership.
• 5+ years troubleshooting and administering networking elements (LAN/WAN, VPN, VLANs, firewalls, TCP/IP).
• 5+ years Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365, cloud solutions.
• 5+ years supporting production-specific hardware and software (e.g., MES, industrial PCs).
• 5+ years supporting end-user devices and technologies including Android, Mac and Windows.
• 5+ years leading IT helpdesk teams.
• Master's Degree in Computer Science or IT administration (nice to have).
• ITIL Foundation Certification (nice to have).

Responsibilities

• Maintain site IT infrastructure: servers, networks, workstations, security systems.
• Provide support for MES, ERP, and IoT devices on the shop floor.
• Implement disaster recovery, business continuity and escalation plans.
• Monitor system performance, uptime, and help desk workflows and service delivery.
• Coordinate with vendors and manage SLAs.
• Align local IT initiatives with enterprise-wide strategies.
• Manage local IT budget and equipment/software needs.
