Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 6–8 years of experience in automotive OEMs, robotics, aviation, or complex hardware manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of body and closure systems (doors, latches, actuators, sealing, glazing, panels, body structures).
• Proven experience leading root-causes and corrective actions in manufacturing-related environments.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead investigation, containment, and resolution of manufacturing issues affecting body and closure systems.
• Develop and execute containment plans including rework and quarantines.
• Lead cross-functional root-cause investigations with engineering, manufacturing, quality, suppliers, and operations.
• Partner with teams to implement permanent corrective actions and prevent recurrence.
• Support prototypes, production trials, engineering changes, and validation activities.
• Drive Design for Manufacturing improvements to enhance quality and efficiency.
• Develop dashboards and reporting to monitor issue status and overall manufacturing performance.
