Job summary

American Rheinmetall in Michigan seeks an Inventory Analyst to monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels for production and operations. You will ensure data accuracy and lead cycle counts while coordinating with multiple departments to minimize costs and improve flow.

The role requires knowledge of inventory control, ERP/MRP systems (Plex preferred), and familiarity with manufacturing processes. GED or higher and 1+ year in inventory management are desirable.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of inventory control principles (cycle counting, Kanban, FIFO/LIFO).
• Understanding of supply chain, logistics and materials management.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and production workflows.
• Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (Plex preferred).

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain system data and inventory flow, ensuring accuracy and minimizing discrepancies.
• Plan and execute periodic cycle counts; investigate and root-cause data variances.
• Improve software systems and standard practices across departments (Paint, Assembly, QC, Estimating, Scheduling).
• Develop reports/tools using programming skills outside ERP as needed.
• Process machine scrap and oversee certain transactions; support changes in system flow.
