Job summary

Graham Packaging seeks a Senior Plant Human Resources Manager to lead recruitment, onboarding, employee relations and compliance at our plant in Washington. You will partner with Plant Leadership to develop policies, administer payroll, safety programs, and training, while maintaining records and coaching managers.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, and 5 years of HR management in manufacturing. Travel is minimal and benefits include medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and/or related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• A minimum of 5 years Human Resources Manager experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to maintain regular, predictable attendance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with internal and external customers.
• Must work under pressure and meet deadlines with positive attitude and service mindset.
• Ability to work independently and complete assignments within instructions and routines.
• Communicates effectively and collaborates well with others.

Responsibilities

• Oversee recruitment, selection and retention of plant employees and partner with Plant Leadership to maintain staffing levels.
• Process the plant weekly payroll and administer the attendance policy.
• Interpret and apply company policies, benefits, and programs; ensure compliance with laws.
• Investigate and administer workers' compensation and related records.
• Maintain records and reports on hires, turnover, training, and performance.
• Coordinate onboarding for new hires and organize employee development and safety training.
