Job summary

Graham Packaging Company seeks a Plant HR Manager to lead recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, training, payroll and safety for the Lee's Summit plant. You will partner with Plant Leadership to align staffing with budget, administer benefits and compensation, and drive a culture focused on safety and continuous improvement.

Ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of HR management experience in manufacturing, with strong communication and collaboration

Responsibilities

• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, training, payroll, compensation, safety and benefits for the plant.
• Maintain and update employee records, reports, and provide coaching to plant leadership on work-related matters.
• Partner with Plant Leadership to maintain staffing levels to budget and recruit accordingly.
• Coordinate new employee onboarding and safety programs; design training for employees and leadership.
• Interact with Plant Manager and leadership to address personnel issues and drive business objectives.
• Manage safety programs and serve as Plant Safety Coordinator; handle worker’s compensation processes.
• Liaise with temporary labor agencies to meet staffing needs and approve related invoices.
