Job summary

Markent Personnel seeks a Plant Human Resources Manager in Clinton, NC to lead HR services for the plant, including design, talent management, employee relations and change management. You will develop policies for both hourly and salaried staff and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.

The role requires extensive manufacturing HR leadership experience, excellent communication, organization and team motivation skills to drive results in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Acclimate employees to plant policies, procedures, regulations, safety rules and benefits.
• Ensure employees understand employment conditions and benefits.
• Maintain accurate employee records in compliance with laws and reports.
• Develop and write policies affecting hourly and salaried staff.
• Arrange pre-employment drug screening and testing before offers.
• Responsible for new employee orientation.
• Monitor layoffs, recalls and transfers to ensure policy compliance.
• Administer daily the benefits program and address inquiries.
• Coordinate with managers to implement HR policies effectively.
• Follow safety regulations and enforce safety rules.
