Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field.
• 3+ years HR experience in manufacturing or plant environment.
• Knowledge of labor relations, employee relations, compliance, and workplace safety.
• Clear communication and strong organizational skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and HR systems.

Responsibilities

• As Plant HR Manager, serve as primary contact for plant management, employees, and union representatives.
• Manage employee relations, grievances and contract administration.
• Oversee labor relations activities, including union communication and arbitration if needed.
• Ensure safety compliance, maintain OSHA logs, and complete safety reporting.
• Administer FMLA, workers’ compensation, and return-to-work programs.
• Oversee recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding for hourly staff.
• Oversee benefits administration and employee support.
• Coordinate plant safety programs, training, and hearing testing.
• Partner with plant management on HR strategy and workforce planning.
