Job summary

Boiler Tube Company of America (BTA) is seeking a highly organized HR Coordinator to support the Plant HR Manager in recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, leave administration, training coordination and offboarding in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

The role requires attention to detail, confidentiality, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Admin, or related field or an Associate with 2+ years HR experience.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to handle confidential information.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Post and manage job openings in the ATS and coordinate interviews.
• Support onboarding, drug screens, I-9 verification, and orientation.
• Maintain confidential employee records in HRIS and filing systems.
• Assist benefits questions and manage leave administration (FMLA, disability, ADA).
• Coordinate online training programs and track completion records.
• Conduct exit interviews and assist with offboarding documentation and return of company property.
• Provide administrative support for day-to-day HR operations and reporting.
• Collaborate on employee engagement initiatives and special HR projects.
