Brakebush Brothers, Inc. in Wells, MN is seeking an HR professional to support the HR & Safety Manager with recruitment, onboarding, and benefits inquiries.

The role involves maintaining personnel files, assisting with training, and adhering to HR policies while interacting with staff across the organization. The position is first shift, with occasional needs to cover 2nd or 3rd shifts as the Wells facility runs multiple shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field OR 1+ years of HR experience OR 2+ years in HR type role(s).
• Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to organize and coordinate work within schedule constraints and handle emergent requirements in a timely manner.
• Proficient in both oral and written communication.
• Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook/other e-mail software.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates nonexempt recruiting and on-boarding. Actively markets, recruits, interviews, and hires for all hourly plant positions; maintains ATS and initiates preemployment paperwork.
• Coordinates the plant onboarding program with orientations and ensures a successful onboarding process.
• Represents employee safety, benefits & wellness programs and coordinates related questions and initiatives.
• Maintains Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) program records and related training, audits, and metrics.
• Routes facility calls and directs visitors arriving at the Wells facility.
